Booking Terms & Conditions
A credit card number is required to hold your reservation. No down payment is necessary unless the booking is for the entire house, or exceeds 3 days. In that case, a 25-50% down payment is required to secure your reservation.
Payment may be made via one of the following 3 methods, and can be made prior to your arrival, upon arrival, or at an otherwise pre-determined meeting time:
- Paypal (via an existing Paypal account or credit card)
- Credit Card
- Cash
The accommodation is cleaned before your arrival, and supplied with fresh towels and bed linens. For extended stays, extra cleaning and towels/linens can be arranged.
A/C and heating, TV/Sat, and Wi-fi are provided at no extra charge.
A telephone is available on the premises for emergency calls only, and may incur a small fee.
Rates are provided on an accommodation-only basis. Each apartment is self-catering, and may be stocked with a few basic food items upon arrival, according to availability, and may be subject to change at any time.
The individual making the reservation must be present at the time of check-in, unless other arrangements have been previously arranged in writing or by e-mail.
Under no circumstance is the number of occupants in any one apartment allowed to exceed the maximum number displayed for that particular apartment. If additional guests are found to be occupying the apartment, then the staff of Vavla Rustic Retreat reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately and/or incur a charge to cover the cost of the extra occupants. No refund will be issued in these circumstances.
Accommodations are NON-SMOKING, however ashtrays are provided in the courtyard for outdoor smoking. If the staff of Vavla Rustic Retreat has become aware that any smoking has taken place inside the accommodations, then the staff of Vavla Rustic Retreat reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately and/or incur a charge of a minimum of 1 night's stay to cover the costs of extra cleaning and lost revenue. The company, Angelos Polis Tourist Estate Ltd., reserves the right to change the prices of the accommodations at any time. Any changes that occur after your confirmed booking will not affect your booking total.
The company, Angelos Polis Tourist Estate Ltd. reserves the right to amend any of its policies, terms and conditions at any time. Any changes made will not affect the conditions in place at the time of your of booking.
The company, Angelos Polist Tourist Estate Ltd., reserves the right to charge the credit card provided at the time of booking or check-in if any of the House Guidelines or rules are broken, as stated therein.
Check-in & Check-out
CHECK-IN TIME: 14:00 onwards CHECK-OUT TIME: by 12:00 noon
Failure to check-out on time will result in an extra charge of 1/2 a day.
If you would like to inquire about an earlier Check-in or later Check-out, please contact the management. Extra fees may apply.
Extra Beds
Children aged 3 and under stay free of charge when using existing beds.
Baby cots are provided free of charge for children aged 3 and under. If one is needed for your stay, please indicate when making your reservation.
Children from the age of 4 - 18 are to be considered as "Occupants" when making a reservation.
If an extra bed or sofabed is required, there will be an extra charge of €10/person per night.
Additional Options & Fees
For 1 night stays €10 will be added to the room price for the Pachni, Mulberry, Maierko and Kamara, and €20 will be added to the Anoï.
Firewood can be provided for the Maeirko and Anoï apartments at €15 each basket/night.
Reservations for groups requiring 3 or more rooms will incur an additional flat fee of €10 charge per room, no matter the length of the booking.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations more than 28 days prior to arrival - A full refund will be issued minus Paypal charges.
Cancellations less than 28 days prior to arrival - 50% of total booking.
No Shows - 100% of total booking

We are happy to be able to share our historical traditional family home with you, and hope you enjoy your time with us! Please take a moment to read through our House Guidelines which were written to encourage respect for our home, our staff, and our guests.
Please note that if these rules/guidelines are not followed, Angelos Polis Tourist Estate Ltd. reserves the right to charge a penalty fee to the credit card provided at the time of booking or check-in.
